| I have used this HTML and XML Tag Checking routine from RHA minisystems for identifying unclosed or incorrectly nested tags. I write all my HTML & XML by hand using "notepad" it is surprising how many errors can be made in even a simple document. |

| I find this validator (which is now in it's 7.01 edition) simple to use. I used the 3.00, 3.5 and 6.52 versions extensively as well. A functional and useful tool that also copes with many non-standard text formats. It is also available for NT, cross platform and vista in a more recent version. This newer version is able to automatically detect all important points on a honey bee forewing and to calculate cubital index, discoidal shift and some other indices. The new version is not under GNU license any more, but it is (and will remain) free for non commercial use. The old GNU version is still available for both Linux and Windows. There is an add-on spreadsheet known as MorphPlot, that will work with DrawWing, further down the page. |
