BURROUGH & DISTRICT DARTS LEAGUE RULES 1991/92 1, The league shall be known as THE BURROUGH & DISTRICT DARTS LEAGUE. 2, The length of the throw shall be 7' 6" horizontally, and the centre of the bull 5' 8" from the floor, the throw line to be clearly defined. 3, Draw to be made at 8.20 pm. matches to commence at 8.30 pm. Players not appearing after the draw may be replaced with reserves, but the deadline is 8.45 pm. Offending teams will lose all legs and points. 4, There will be no cancelled matches except for bad weather conditions. In the event of a cancelled match the committee will fix the new date. 5A, New players must be registered with the secretary 7 days before playing.
6, If a landlord has two teams in the league he can only play for one. 7, In the event of a team dropping out of the league in the first half of the season all results are void, in the second half only these results are void. 8, Registrations fees to be set by the committee, entry forms and fees to be handed in at the A.G.M. 9, 20p per player to be collected at each game by the captains of both teams and left with the result card behind the bar of the venue for collection by the secretary. 10, Both scorer and player must agree on the score before the darts are withdrawn. 11, Players must be present at the venue by the deadline of 8.45 pm., for all league and competitions, or be eliminated. 12, All rules must be strictly adhered to and the decision of the committee on any matters arising will be final.
LEAGUE GAMES TO CONSIST OF:-
Game one... two sets of 4 players playing one leg 801 All games double start, home team throw first then alternate for the rest of the match (singles spin third leg if needed) Total of 14 legs one point per leg won, plus two points for the match win or one point each for a draw.
