3a picture, provided by Patrick Nethercot (who is also depicted). One thing about the picture is remarkable... There are only 42 pupils in the picture, at that time it was more common for the numbers to be in the 52 - 55 region.
I have a number of school reports, and among them is the one for the term in which the above picture was taken. Many of the other reports are rather more critical of my work and ability.
