Beekeeping

Dave Cushman's website is a huge resource that is considered by many to be the world's most comprehensive and authoritative beekeeping website. Dave was disabled in his latter years, with limited physical ability. He spent much of his time finding or writing material for this facility. He was rightly proud of it. Dave passed away on 22nd February 2011 and I am continuing to maintain it according to his wishes.

There is information here that is not relevant to beekeeping, but I am retaining it without updating. The topics are separated as follows;-

Beekeeping.
The Subject Index will take you to a page that will help you find what you are looking for by subject e.g. "swarming", which should have everything to do with swarming.

The A-Z Index format is a general guide of the more popular topics. Pages are listed where you can find the individual topic e.g. "artificial swarming" if you can't find it in the Subject Index. There will be many more topics here that aren't featured in the Subject Index, possibly because they are difficult to classify. If you can't find a topic in one index, then look in the "Subject Index" or use the search facility at the top of the A-Z Index

About This Website is a brief introduction and has such things as website policy, acceptance of material, copyright and a little about the history and development.

This website grew from only a few pages, hence the number of pages. I realise it may be rather old-fashioned, but there is a lot of information. I hope it is easy for everyone to quickly access the information they need.

There is a lot happening to this website. Following strong messages from users, I do not intend changing the format at the moment, as it is felt it is "Dave's style", but sooner or later it will need a complete overhaul. I hope you find what you are looking for. Please return regularly.

Dave deliberately held no copyright and granted free use of any material or software, apart from family photographs, all of which are copyright. Some are the copyright of his sister Anji Cushman and some others are the copyright of his father, Albert Cushman. Please respect this.
